  The government’s Healthy Child programme says: “The contribution that fathers make to their children’s development, health and wellbeing is important, but services do not do enough to recognise or support them.

NHS mental health checks for dads: a ‘landmark’ recognition of impact
The Fatherhood Institute has welcomed a ‘landmark’ move by NHS England to offer mental health checks to fathers whose partner’s mental health is poor. 

New FI project with Fulham FC supports dads and daughters
The Fatherhood Institute is forming a partnership with Women in Sport, Fulham Football Club and the English Football League Trust, to help low income families in London get active with their children. 

Why we need more focus on dads in the First 1000 Days
The Government’s proposed First 1000 Days strategy should include, as a priority, the provision of detailed guidance to ensure that pre-conception, maternity and post-natal services reach out to, engage with and support expectant and new fathers.
