Help us tell the story of dads and co-parenting during the Covid-19 crisis

Police line: do not cross

Covid-19 is throwing up challenges for all sorts of families across the UK, including families where children usually move between households; families in economic hardship; and even ‘better off’, intact families spending more time together in a confined space than they are used to!

We’re developing a survey, to be circulated within the next couple of weeks. about how this crisis is impacting on men’s fathering, and on families’ experiences of co-parenting. We want to get a sense of the issues you’re facing as parents, the solutions you’re coming up with, where you’re looking for support, and what extra help you need.

Whoever you are, if you’re a parent in the UK, we want to hear your stories.

The results of our survey will help us keep fatherhood – and the importance of shared caregiving and earning – on the agenda with government, policymakers and providers of tax-funded services. Hopefully you’ll find it a useful exercise personally, too.

If you’d like to join in, please sign up to our mailing list here, and we’ll send you a link to the survey as soon as it’s ready. We will also send you a list of the best father-inclusive online parenting resources.

Please share this post with anyone else you think might be interested.
