Check out our free resources for Fathers’ Story Week

Fathers’ Story Week is just around the corner – creating an opportunity for schools and early years centres to take part in an annual celebration of fatherhood, from 13-19 June 2016.

Here are some free resources to help you join the fun, including four brilliant Celebrity Story Time videos to show to children, information sheets to give to dads, and some ideas for how to engage with fathers and father-figures.

Of course, dads are forever, not just Father’s Day…which is why we’ve set ourselves the goal of reaching 6,000 families with Fathers Reading Every Day – our programme that gets dads and children into the reading habit. We’ve already trained schools in London, Greater Manchester, Wolverhampton, Bradford and Rochdale.

By telling your local school about FRED, donating in honour of Father’s Day (19 June 2016) and sharing a photo of yourself or a much-loved dad reading, using the hashtag #DadsReading, you could help us reach even more.
