Fathers Matter – international conference
The International Federation for Parenting Education in partnership with Working With Men, are running a conference about fatherhood in central London on Saturday 15th October.
The event aims to look at promising practice, strategy and research, from the UK and around the world. Additionally it will examine the future of father inclusive provision and how it may be evaluated.
Speakers will include: Rt. Hon. David Lammy, M.P., Prof. Margaret O’Brien, Co-Director, Centre for Research on the Child and the Family, University of East Anglia; Shane Ryan, Chief Executive, Working With Men; Trevor Davies, Director, African Fathers Initiative, Zimbabwe; Glen Palm, St Cloud State University, Minnesota; Owen Thomas, Young Fathers Worker, Working With Men; Dr Alireza Assarah, Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University; Marie-Martine Bernard; Dr Ali Alfrooz.
