Fatherhood Institute Dads Included award

16 September 2010

Win £500 and the opportunity to present to our autumn conference in London on the 11 November as a model of good practice of engaging fathers in the Big Society. We will also publish your project as a model of outstanding practice.

Is your organisation an innovator in the field of father-inclusive practice?

Have you found new ways to engage fathers as partners in the work that you do or in wider society?

Our conference will present examples of really innovative practice and we want to hear from other organisations which are creating new partnerships with fathers and their families.

This could involve:

  • Engaging fathers as volunteers, social activists or mentors.
  • Helping dads to establish community businesses or leading local campaigns against issues such as drug use or domestic violence.
  • Supporting fathers to go into schools and get involved in their children’s learning.
  • Working with dads to set up inspiring activities and projects for local children.

Closing date for entries: Friday 15 October 2010 at 4pm.
Winners will be notified by Monday 25 October.

There is one award of £500 and two further projects will receive commendations and have their stories published.
