Based at Newcastle office with regular travel throughout the North East and occasionally outside the region

The Children North East ‘Fathers Plus Service’ team are recruiting for an individual to work as part of the Fathers Plus team to facilitate the involvement of fathers and male carers in organisations and services in the North East and beyond.
The successful applicant will have direct and extensive experience of working with fathers and male carers and be able to evidence the ability to enable others to undertake this work.
The successful applicant will also be able to evidence the ability to:
- Deliver specific training packages.
- Develop new resources in response to identified needs.
- Advise senior managers, managers and practitioners on issues relating to male carer / father involvement in their settings.
