Who should attend?

Designed for all those working in education, family support, health and community work in statutory, private, voluntary or independent organisations who are working with fathers and supporting them to become more involved in the lives of their children.

Speaker include:

  • Brid Featherstone, Professor of Social Work and Social Policy at the University of Bradford
  • David Bartlett, Deputy Chief Executive of the Fatherhood Institute
  • Steve Davies, Head Teacher of Coopers Lane Primary School in Lewisham

In the afternoon parents and practitioners from the Pen Green Centre and other settings will be running participative workshops, sharing their experiences of being fathers and discussing the work that they do to support fathers in modern families.
