Could you be our new Web Editor?

The Fatherhood Institute is looking to appoint a web editor part-time, 20 hours per week to communicate information about fatherhood policy, research and practice to a largely professional audience, through several websites.

As Web Editor you will be writing, editing and organising web content and playing a moderating role. Your work will be essential in developing articles which are clear, engage the reader and meet the objectives of the organisation. You will need excellent proof reading skills, demonstrate consistent attention to detail, be able to work with people at all levels, have a good eye for design and have good planning and organisational skills.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and committed self-starter. You will preferably hold an appropriate professional qualification and will be able to demonstrate at least 3 years’ relevant experience, including of web- based journalism. .

The post is home based attracting a salary of £31,000 pro rata. You may need to occasionally attend regular team meetings in London and Manchester.
