Fatherhood Institute ‘highly commended’ in charity awards

The Fatherhood Institute has received national recognition for its work to publicise the need for maternity services to engage more effectively with fathers.
The Institute was ‘highly commended’ by the judges in the 2008 Charity Times award for ‘Campaigning Team of the Year’, coming second out of six in its category (which was won by the Live Life Then Give Life organ donation charity).
The judges said: ‘The Fatherhood Institute revealed a very intelligent and thought-provoking campaigning approach to the issue of fatherhood and the family, without having to resort to cheap stunts’.
