The Children’s Centre & Extended Schools Show 2008, organised by Children and Young People Now (in association with Nursery World) and supported by 4Children, ContinYou, the Department of Health, the London Development Agency, the National Children’s Bureau and the School Food Trust, will take place in London on 24-25 June 2008.
The event will include 6 interactive seminars on wellbeing and 24 workshops led by influential leaders and practitioners in the early years and education fields.
There will also be a conference on Outcome-Driven Children’s Centres, which will include a variety of case studies delivered by individual children’s centres and council-wide initiatives. At this, Alison Ruddock, head of early years at Islington Council, will be presenting a session about working with fathers.
Fatherhood Institute brochures will be available free to all delegates at the conference. For more information about the event visit www.childrenscentresconference.com.Tags: Early years, Parenting education, Schools, Separated families, Vulnerable families, Young fathers
