Scottish report on dads’ involvement in their children’s education
A survey conducted by South Lanarkshire Home School Partnership has found that most fathers are ‘quite extensively involved’ in aspects of their children’s school and education, but almost a third of them (29%) said events being held during the day was a barrier to their involvement, and 51% found work commitments an obstacle.
