Report suggests ways of focusing on dads of disabled children
The Foundation for People with Learning Disabilities has produced two key publications focusing on fathers of children with disabilities.
The Recognising Fathers report and booklet highlight findings from a research project involving 21 diverse families, and make recommendations to help employers, practitioners and service commissioners understand the issues faced by fathers and engage better with them.
Both publications can be downloaded for free from the publications section of the FPLD website, which is organised alphabetically.
