New resource for practitioners working with separated families

18 June 2007

‘When Parents Part’ is run by charity Young Voice, and aims to explore children’s perspectives in family breakups.

On its website is an online forum for those doing child-centred work in divorce or separation. Here they may share their hints and difficulties, learn of the latest research and hear from children about how they experience their service. Practitioners are invited to join the network, and parents may log on to learn more. Young people will continue to add their views.

The programme offers a research study (£5) and a film for parents on DVD with a booklet by a mediator (£15 including p&p.)

Young Voice is the national charity making young people’s views heard. For more details tel 208 9794991 or email info@young-voice.org.
