Challenging behaviour training for dads

Published: 4 March 2007

A centre which specialises in the care and education of children with severe and complex learning needs is running a training day for dads on Saturday 28 April.

Sunfield Professional Development Centre’s ‘Dads Day’, being held on its own site in Clent, Worcestershire, will focus on the theme of challenging behaviour, and will be led by Dave Hewett, an experienced trainer in this field.

In the workshop Dave Hewett will explore different approaches to managing difficult and complex behaviour, and the day will be co-ordinated by Professor Barry Carpenter, who is chief executive of the centre and is himself the father of a young woman with learning disabilities.

The cost is £10.00 per delegate. For further information please email Rose Welling or call her on 01562 883183. For more information about the centre, visit the Sunfield website.
