The Fatherhood Institute‘s publications are designed to help your agency engage more effectively with fathers.
Our Toolkit for Father-Inclusive Practice is a key resource which takes you through eight key steps to father-inclusive practice. Another guide, Working With Fathers, is considered by many to be the ‘Bible’ for father work.
Our specialist guides offer useful advice for particular kinds of workers (for example midwives) or focus on how to engage with specific groups of dads, for example those from African Caribbean backgrounds or those who misuse drugs or alcohol. We even produce prayer cards for Muslim dads – a great resource if your agency needs a ‘calling card’ to help attract fathers from this group.
