Setting up a dads and lads project

The YMCA England Parenting Unit will be holding a ‘Dads & Lads’ training day at Hoole Lighthouse Centre in Chester, on Monday 11th December.

The training day is an opportunity for practitioners to work through on a step-by-step basis the process of setting up and running a ‘Dads & Lads’ project in which fathers and their children can deepen their relationships through taking part in activities together.

The day will include input from Heather Harkin – an award winning Sure Start female fathers’ worker – who will talk about her role and work. For further information and to book a place email Heidi Green or call her on 01244 403090.
