Training for Trainers

A three day Accredited Level 3 OCN training programme delivered by Joe Ward and Blerim Azizaj

5th, 6th and 7th April 2006

Who is this training for?

Education Services, Parent helpers, Social Services, Youth Offending Services, Health Services, Sure Start, On Track, Charity and Voluntary workers, Fathers who wish to work with other fathers.

Outcomes

Participants will be able to run their own workshops for parents and professionals, using the materials provided. By the end of the course participants will:

Have an awareness to the background of the ‘Lets Think about Father Figures’ programme
Develop appropriate group work facilitation skills
Be familiar with the material
Be able to interpret the materials to particular groups

Methods
Presentations, discussions and interactive learning. Trainers are committed to practicing in an anti – discriminating and anti – oppressive way.

When
Wed 5th, Thurs 6th, Fri 7th April 2006 from 9.30am – 4.00pm

Cost
The course costs for three days are £450 including Accreditation, course manual (worth £75.00), lunch and refreshments.
