South African Fatherhood Conference
The Human Sciences Research Council and the Ford Foundation presented the country’s first Fatherhood Conference on the 24th November, 2004. It was a one-day conference, and began at 8.30am and ended at 5.30pm. During the day a range of speakers presented papers on different aspects of their involvement in the project, and about issues surrounding the project.
The Conference intended to celebrate the exhibition and the project, and to give an opportunity for partners of the Fatherhood Project to share how they have integrated its principles into their work and activities, and to network with each other to plan the way ahead for the Project.
